The article assumes the existence of various form of integration of rules produced by Parliament and declares the physiology of this process, especially when science is involved in the regulation of biolaw. The focus moves then on the
characteristics of such integration, with a specific focus on what is defined ‘endo”-legislative integration. Accordingly, a systematisation of different legislative techniques which can be implemented in order to open legislative text to the scientific dimension, which is based on the identification of the tools, nature, subject and object of reference to science. The comparative analysis of the relevant constitutional case-law contributes to confirm the existence of a direct link between the legitimacy of the law and the inclusion of science in both law-making and law-enforcement processes.
